We hope you enjoy our new feature enhancements! Our team is working hard to create a beautiful and easy to use real estate investment platform of choice. Now let's take a look at some of our newest features:
New Investment Listing Filters and Sorting Capabilities!
As Patch of Land increases the volume of our listings to meet Investor demand, we wanted to make it easier to find the opportunities you want to see. We've launched comprehensive yet easy to use filtering and sorting functionality to help you out! You can now pull up the Investments list and then filter by attributes such as property type and funding needed as well as sort by launch date, ARV, etc. Many more selection options are available for you to explore. We've also provided the ability via the 'View' button to change how you see listings: either as a three-opportunity tile row or, if you want a little more information right away in the list view, with each opportunity as a full-width row.

Auto-Loading New Opportunities on the Investments List (aka "Magic!")
Instead of making you click through pages when you're surfing our past projects and open opportunities, we've implemented new technology that automatically loads more listings as you reach the bottom of the page. This works on your computer, tablet, and smartphone, as you've come to expect with all the other features on our platform. Try it out!

Downloadable Excel-Compatible Exports for All of your Financial Records
We know that even though we provide a dashboard where you can view data on your investments day or night, some still want this data in their own hands and in their own reporting systems. As such, we've now made all investment orders, earning records, withdrawals, and your transaction history exportable. You'll find a new link under each of those data tables in your dashboard to let you download a CSV formatted representation of your account's data. This file can be opened in Microsoft Excel and imported into almost any reporting system out there. At this time, we only provide lifetime exports of each of these data sets but we'll soon be providing additional features to let you further filter and expand your exported files.

Behind the Scenes: Our New Job Management Server
Sometimes we like to bring you behind the curtain and see what we're up to you that might not see on the platform but that makes your experience top-notch! We're very proud to let you know we've launched a custom-build comprehensive job management server written in one of the speediest and most secure programming languages out there. What's a job management server you ask? Well, if we're Patch of Land, think of the job server as S.O.I.L., that is the foundation that Patch of Land is built on. The job server runs all of the processes that our visitors demand consistent, fast and accurate performance out of. With this new technology, we're scaling with the appreciating demands our customers have placed on us. Some processes such as investment ordering and the distribution processes which give Investors their earnings each month take up a lot of power! With S.O.I.L., we can handle many times the amounts of requests than previously possible, and do it with the same speed and accuracy you've come to expect from us. We're in the process of transitioning many of our existing processes to use this new foundation, so the things you do on our website, the data you deserve and the communications you rely on will only get faster and better! P.S. We named it S.O.I.L. for the obvious reason that its a great analogy of its role in our infrastructure but its also an abbreviation. We recently had a new Engineer join us who took the lead in building this technology, Sanjay Prajapati. As such, the abbreviation stands for: Sanjay's Operations Interaction Layer. We're proud of our engineers and this accomplishment certainly deserves a shout out.
Formatting for Transaction History and other Dashboard Data
Keeping in line with our constant goal of being your real estate investment platform of choice, we've upped the professionalism in our reporting you see in your dashboard. As part of this, we have ensured all currency-type text is now regularly formatted with the correct notation and we've provided more comprehensive information when it comes to your transaction history, balance, etc. Lastly, we've added a new "Grand Total" link in your monthly distribution summary emails in addition to investment-specific totals!
Coming down the Pipe
Time to get excited! Coming in the next weeks and months, we'll launch a new open data API that will let you get access to our listings through your own systems if desired and allow app developers to build applications and analysis that interact with our platform. We'll also be making generated monthly statements available to Investors in your My Files section and rolling out an Engineering blog to give you a peek into more of the nitty-gritty (amazing) tech going on here. Also be on the lookout to start seeing your ACHs for investment orders and withdrawals speeding up in the next month or so. We're hard at work optimizing that process with our vendors even further to get you your money faster.
