Join Patch of Land's General Counsel, Amy Wan, and her team of Legal Hackers at Code The Deal Los Angeles. This will be the second annual legal hackathon produced by Legal Hackers and will challenge participants to produce solutions that improve transactional law across multiple fields and industries. Code the Deal aims to advance the legal industry by expanding access and enhancing the delivery of legal services. Come and join teams of developers, designers, lawyers, data analysts and other professionals working together to develop software-based solutions and compete for cash prizes.
Where and When? Code the Deal LA will be held at the UCLA School of Law (anticipated location) on Saturday and Sunday, October 24 and 25, 2015. The event kicks off with registration and breakfast at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday and will run until Sunday evening when participants will pitch their prototype solutions to a panel of judges.
What is a hackathon? A hackathon is an event, typically lasting several days, in which a large number of people meet to engage in collaborative computer programming. Within one weekend, teams will build tech solutions to problems, pitch their concept to a panel of judges and compete for cash and other prizes.
