Yesterday's RECFEN Meetup at the offices of Manatt, Phelps, and Phillips was fantastic. Patch of Land is happy to have co-hosted this event which drew a wonderful crowd of individuals representing companies including: Orchard, Prosper, Price Waterhouse Coopers, and many more. The speaking portion of the night was presented in a fireside chat format and moderated by Brian Korn (Manatt). Brian asked some great questions for both Jason Fritton (Patch of Land CEO & Co-Founder) and Jeremy Todd (Orchard Director of West Coast Sales), then opened the discussion to the crowd for questions. Ultimately, Jason and Jeremy gave great insight into marketplace and peer-to-peer lending, discussing where the industry was a year a go, where it is today, and where it appears to be heading in the near future.
