Hello RECFEN Members,
Thank you so much for being part of this first year of Real Estate Crowdfunding Education and Networking group. We hope that we are able to provide you with a community of like-minded individuals, who see the benefits and opportunities of the JOBS Act and its impact on real estate investing.
We've had a number of live events since launching last June: 2 in Los Angeles and 1 in Miami, plus a few webinars, all of which have been very popular.

Webinars will be hosted by Jason Fritton (CEO of Patch of Land), and Doug Cochrane (SVP of Underwriting & Acquisitions at Patch of Land).
In 2011, Jason lobbied alongside Congressmen McHenry and Dold, who succeeded in getting the crowdfunding exemptions passed through the JOBS Act legislation signed into law by President Obama. Jason went on to become one of the founding fathers of Patch of Land, providing debt financing to real estate professionals through his real estate crowdfunding platform. He'll provide information on 'all things' crowdfunding, from regulations to expectations, as well as news and updates about these topics, and insight into how these changes might impact real estate professionals.

Doug has 20 years of experience in the real estate industry. His wide range of skills includes: property flipping, appraising, underwriting, and originating loans. He will talk about the important role underwriting plays in crowdfunding real estate. He will also provide viewers with tips and insights in regards to the best ways of structuring a request for funding. Additionally, he will be answering questions about the process and what to expect if you turn to a crowdfunding company for your financing needs.

Every webinar will be very interactive. In fact, we welcome your participation and will be taking live questions throughout the hour, so please submit your questions and topic ideas before each webinar. This will be a great opportunity to have your questions answered and learn from these two pros. However, if you miss one don't worry. You can always view a replay, and of course, join us for the next month's webinar.
