Los Angeles, CA – April 28, 2014.  Patch of Land, the real estate crowdfunding platform and online lending marketplace that provides investors with exclusive opportunities to fund loans to rehab, remodel and rebuild residential and small commercial properties across America, is presenting at Lendit’s 2014 Expo at the San Francisco Hilton Union Square, May 4-6.

“We’re thrilled to be making our debut to the peer-to-peer and online direct lending industries at Lendit,” says Patch of Land CEO Carlo Tabibi, “While we’re enjoying great success in real estate crowdfunding, it makes strategic sense to take this firm step into P2P.  Hard money real estate lending is an age-old practice, one I’ve been on all sides of the table on. With Patch of Land and P2RE we have an opportunity to create massive positive change and positive returns for everyone.”  P2RE® is synonymous with peer-to-peer real estate lending, and with Patch of Land.

At Lendit, the company will showcase its proprietary P2RE® platform to over 1000 expected attendees comprised of institutional investors, private wealth managers, family offices, select members of the financial media, individual investors and industry participants.  In addition to being the largest P2P and online lending expo in history, LendIt 2014 will provide comprehensive educational programming.  More than 100 panelists and speakers will be sharing their expertise through panels, presentations and hands-on workshops.

Patch of Land CTO,Brian Fritton, will be doing a live demo of PatchofLand.com Tuesday at 9:45 am on stage and the company is exhibiting and taking meetings at booth #21.

Patch of Land offers accredited and institutional investors access to a new class of fixed income, cash flow generating investments by offering real estate debt securities backed by 1st liens and personal guarantees with yields up to 12% and terms from 30 days and 12 months.

Patch of Land aims to solve the problem of inefficient, fragmented and obscure real estate lending by using the latest technology, data, and process efficiency to more accurately assign risk profiles and project viability, while greatly reducing time and cost of loan underwriting for borrowers with real estate projects that are overlooked or rejected by banks and traditional lenders.

“The hard money lending market is estimated to be around $100 billion dollars,” states Tabibi, “and that may not include the ‘Uncle Hal’s’ and the ‘Mom and Pop’s’ who are lending privately.”  This is an established market with substantial demand, ripe for funding through the reach, transparency, and consistent underwriting practices enabled through technological portals. Patch of Land is bringing all this online via P2RE®.
