NEWS RELEASE

LOS ANGELES, CA. – Patch of Land, the online marketplace for peer-to-peer real estate loan crowdfinancing, and Kingdom Trust, a premier alternative asset custodian, announced a strategic partnership to give IRA owners easier access to real estate lending investments through Patch of Land’s online and mobile marketplace.
“Our two companies are working to raise the level of awareness to all investors. Kingdom Trust serves as the custodian for investors who wish to use their IRAs to invest in alternative assets like real estate and real estate loans,” said Kingdom Trust’s Vice President of Business Development James Jones. “Patch of Land will open up more opportunities to investors who wish to invest in real estate notes.”
“Patch of Land is a natural fit with Kingdom Trust’s business model,” Carlo Tabibi, CEO of Patch of Land Inc., says, “Both their institutional custody and self-directed IRA services are designed to help accredited investors and their advisors invest in private placements and alternative investment funds. This makes Kingdom Trust an ideal custodian for Patch of Land.”
Patch of Land will offer accredited investors access to a new class of fixed income, cash flowing investments by offering real estate debt in the form of notes secured by 1st liens and personal guarantees. These investments offer high yields between 10-18% and terms between 30 days and 12 months. Such investments can be held in IRAs. An added incentive for investors is that they benefit from a lower fee from Kingdom Trust provided they make their investments through the Patch of Land marketplace.
Kingdom Trust continues to be the pioneer in the crowdinvesting world as they were the first to enter the marketplace with a crowdinvesting-specific IRA, called the KingdomCrowdIRA. James Jones says, “We designed the KingdomCrowdIRA as a best in class product to educate and inform investors about crowdinvesting opportunities. It has an easy point of entry, with first class technology, and a premier level of client service, and that really defines what we are doing at Kingdom Trust.”
Alternative investments are not without their risks. “These are sophisticated deals, for accredited investors,” Tabibi says. “That is why we provide full disclosure and information on each deal, from the borrower’s history as a real estate developer, to the market data around the property, detailed information about the property itself, and risks of each investment.” Investors should read the materials carefully and consult their own advisors before making investments.
