AREAA’s Finest Convention
AREAA’s National Convention, held each fall, attracts the organization’s best and brightest from all over the world to converge for three days of education, networking, and motivation. With over 1,200 attendees expected, it is our largest annual event and serves as a celebration of our accomplishments over the last year.
Attendees of the Convention will have the opportunity to engage with industry leaders and influencers sharing their insight during powerful breakout sessions. The breakout sessions cover a wide range of cutting edge topics, with an emphasis on the Asian American and Pacific Islander community’s role in shaping today’s real estate industry. Exclusive networking events provide attendees ample opportunity to mix and mingle in lavish settings with other professionals, helping forge new relationships both personally and professionally.
Built into the Convention’s agenda are multiple offsite events designed to showcase the host city and the many exciting lifestyle and real estate opportunities that can be found. Attendees can go on property tours of high end neighborhoods, and explore cultural, historical, and geographical landmarks on privately guided tours.
AREAA’s Conventions also feature celebrity, political, and other world class speakers to share their own personal stories and experiences as an Asian American and Pacific Islander at the top of their game. Past speakers of AREAA events include Christine Ha, winner of Masterchef; comedienne Ali Wong of Fresh Off the Boat and Baby Cobra; journalists Lisa Ling and Richard Lui; actor and activist Kal Penn of 24 and House; Congresspersons Grace Meng, Judy Chu, Mike Honda, and Al Green; and many others.
The AREAA National Convention has become a staple of the real estate industry, showcasing the rapidly growing importance and influence of the Asian American and Pacific Islander community in business and real estate. The annual Convention is symbolic of AREAA’s growth and reach as a professional trade organization, and the 2017 event is set to be our Finest Convention in history.
