What is Patch of Land?
Patch of Land is the new approach to solving the problem of abandoned, foreclosed and used properties. We're building the platform for global and local communities to get involved in the rehabilitation of failing properties nationwide. We expect to bring prosperity and stability back to local communities with crowdfunding and wisely-chosen investment opportunities by real estate experts.
Our real estate and urban planning experts find, research and post potential buildings in need of attention to Patch of Land. Now its up to our community of Funders to vote on which properties are the best opportunities and the best ways to turn them around. Throughout this process, Funders are provided with photos videos, financial analysis and projections to make the most informed decisions on their investments.
Once a property is decided upon and its investment requirement met, its time to roll up our sleeves and get to work. First, we bring in local contractors to make all necessary repairs and improvements. Next, Patch of Land hires a real estate management company in the neighborhood to maintain the property and help keep it rented. Finally, we deliver a monthly status report and profits back to you, our Funders.
How does it work?
